Sumpetar is a village on Omis riviera that spreads over only 15 km2. Its history dates back to the period of the Republic of Poljica, since it was its one of its constituents. It is situated 15 km from Split and it is know for a magnificent sandy beach called Duće, which spreads for 4km.
